Later in the week I relocated from the Delta to the Gold Country. This was taken at an overlook of Lake Don Pedro.
Wow, Diceshooter. Such beautiful country to drive through. Thanks for posting pictures!

We're currently volunteering at the Holiday Festival of Lights at James Island County Park in Charleston, SC. Here are a few images of the light displays.

Very nice PotKorn! We love to go to the Longwood Gardens light display in PA during the Christmas season. I bet you are having fun time volunteering.

Pete - Neat pictures of the beautiful area you live in!
Jim - Even if you were disappointed, we weren't! Really neat picture of the shuttle launch!

I am in the middle of scanning a bunch of old photos from a 1950 cross country trip our family took in a 1938 Plymouth, including a home built camping trailer...
Very nice Jon! I enjoyed them all.

Tuli,
the old one was 27 feet, the new one is 31 feet, with ducted heat, basement storage, in motion satelite, and all the bells and whistles.
JB - Thanks for posting the interior pictures of your new camper! Quite a home on wheels!

RE: Picture posting thread...anyone into it?

Marites, I saw your picture and thought it was so beautiful. I also thought that some of the highlights were hidden from the image. I downloaded it and without manipulating it too much I was able to bring out some detail from the Lighthouse and lush green grass. I hope you don't mind.

RE: Picture posting thread...anyone into it?

This was taken at Golden Hill State Park, NY on Lake Ontario. The flowers were from my brother's wedding and they lasted for our week long vacation! It was great putting out our table cloth and flowers at every campsite we went to.

Wow Marites! What a very pretty picture!:)
(BTW.. what campsite # was this? Looks like a great site! Whatta view!:) )
Thanks Carolyn. We were at site #37 which really was a great site. There are many sites along the water. We were there early June and there was a cool breeze coming off the lake. I think it may be a bit warmer in the middle of the summer because there isn't a lot of shade. Golden Hill State Park is also home to a lighthouse (fancy that!). The lighthouse is unique because it is one of the few lighthouses you can sleep in. It has a section that you can rent like a vacation rental (I think 2 or 3 bedrooms). Camping suited us just fine. The lighthouse is still operational so you can see the lighted beacon at night. This is 30 Mile Point Lighthouse at sunset.

Hi,
This is for the Ford guys. I think Kenny and Jay will appreciate this one of four 1936 Ford
Very nice! The car looks like solid silver - like one of those miniature pewter cars blown up to life-size! I'm a Ford gal (but only cause I own one - give me a BMW anyday! :B)

Thanks Marites! No, I can't imagine that a B would make a fit with your wonderfully big family!!!The little ones would sure have fun though.
Very nice Malu! It looks very comforatble and I like the mods! I was thinking for when DH retires but most likely it will be a little Aliner or a lightweight trailer for just the two of us.
